SEFS is an international congress about European Freshwater Sciences. In the 11th event Ana Filipa Filipe and Aina Garcia-Raventós have represented EnvMetaGen and Ana Filipa’s project FRESHING.

Aina gave her presentation entitled “The role of human in the origin and history of Phoxinus (Cyprinidae): tracking introduction pathways and first molecular evidences of the European minnow in the Douro Basin (Iberian Peninsula)” and Ana Filipa showed preliminary results of “Optimizing freshwater fish detection with eDNA metabarcoding”.

It was overall a fantastic conference with many questions asked during the presentations of our work. Thank you all for your interest!
