XXIV Congreso Español & VII Ibérico de Ornitología, Cadiz, Spain
Luis Pascoal da Silva has just returned from Cádiz, in Spain, where he participated to the XXIV Congreso Español & VII Ibérico de Ornitología that took place from 13th-17th November, 2019. The event was organized jointly by the Portuguese and Spanish societies of ornitology, SPEA and SEO.
With 150 participants, this events gathers mostly Iberian ornithologists (both amateurs and professionals) but also has participants from other countries that are working with birds in the Iberia Peninsula. Luis has presented his work entitled “Using Metabarcoding to study the diet of a generalist passerine: the black wheatear“. The presentation was welcomed with interest, and allowed to initiate several contacts for further collaborations.
