This is encompassed by one of several research lines pursued by the EnvMetaGen project, which aims to provide molecular tools to identify agricultural pests in natural enemy diets. The main goal is to increase knowledge about changes in pest-natural enemy interactions that result from agricultural land conversion and intensification, and the consequent implications for natural pest control.
Pedro Beja was one of the invited speakers of the conference, and Sasha Vasconcelos, that attended the conference, also gave a talk. Sasha’s work had very positive feedback and won the prize for best student oral communication. We are super proud!!
