20th European Congress of Herpetology

Joana Veríssimo, now a PhD student and initially one of the research technicians in our team,  has participated in the 20^th European Congress of Herpetology that took place in University of Milan, from the 2^nd to the 6^th  of September 2019.

This congress joined researchers from 40 countries to present and discuss the latest results and trends in herpetology. Joana presented a poster entitled “ Protocol optimization for fecal DNA collection on terrapins”.

To enable scientific discussions during the poster session the organizing committee offered amazing wine to all poster presenters and glasses for the remaining participants as an experiment which worked very well during a very hot Italian afternoon.
